I’ve always been a wine and margarita lover, but in recent years I’ve started developing a taste for bourbon. It’s probably my husband’s taste rubbing off on me!
For our first wedding anniversary we made a trip to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and it was AWESOME. I learned so much and I got even more into trying different whiskeys and whiskey based cocktails.

We love to go out and get cocktails, but that gets pretty expensive! So I decided I wanted to try and start making my own at home. I searched and searched for easy and affordable cocktail mixers, but none that I found quite met my standards for health and taste, until I found Owl’s Brew on Amazon!

Recipe Ideas
The recommended ratio is 2 parts mixer (2 oz) to one part alcohol (1 oz). I like to use 1 1/2 alcohol just for a little extra strength and more drink volume.
Please drink responsibly! And you can still enjoy these mixers minus the alcohol by adding sparkling water or juice. Get creative!

Strawberry Moonshine Manhattan
- 2 oz Owl’s Brew Strawberry Manhattan Mixer
- 1 or 1 1/2 oz of your favorite bourbon (Larceny, Wild Turkey, and Four Roses are a couple of my faves!)
- Shake it up with a few ice cubes in a cocktail shaker – I like to pour that ice into my drink, but traditionally you leave it out of a Manhattan
- Garnish with an Ole Smoky Moonshine cherry and add a half ounce of the cherry moonshine to for extra bite and flavor!
Salty Watermelon Margarita
- 2 oz Owl’s Brew Watermelon Margarita Mixer
- 1 or 1 1/2 oz of your favorite tequila
- Add a handful of ice and shake it up in a cocktail shaker, then pour into a glass with a salted rim
- Garnish with a lime
Wicked White Wine Sangria
- 2 oz Owl’s Brew Wicked Margarita Mixer
- 2 oz pineapple juice
- 2 oz Prosecco or white wine
- add pineapple chunks and jalapeño slices
- add ice if desired
- double or triple this recipe for more servings!
Strawberry Hibiscus Tea Mimosa
